Championship Golf Tours
Experience the perfect luxury of a chauffeur driven golfing holiday in Ireland, both on and off the course. You will have the opportunity to play some of Ireland’s best known and challenging links and parkland courses while at the same time experiencing Irish Culture and viewing some wonderful sites with your own private driver/guide. If you have a preference for playing other courses not listed here, we are happy to tailor a tour for you.
Day 1
Arrive at Dublin airport where you will be met and collected by your driver/guide. You will be driven in your luxury 6 passenger seat MPV to the 5 star K Club and golf resort where you will stay for 2 nights. The K Club is renowned as one of the world’s finest golf resorts and is home to two Championship courses – The Palmer Ryder Cup Course (the chosen venue for the 2006 Ryder Cup) and the Palmer designed Smurfit course.
Day 2
Play Portmarnock Golf Links – one of the best links courses, it has hosted the Irish Open, the Walker Cup and the World Cup. It is ranked amongst the top golf courses in the world. Return by Chauffeur to the K Club.
Day 3
Play and stay at Carton House, this 5 star resort is a restored historic mansion which has been discretely converted to a modern luxury destination. Carton House is located on an 1100 acre private parkland estate and features two Championship courses. The Irish Open was held here in 2013 and was voted Ireland’s number 1 Golf resort in 2014.
Day 4
Travel to County Cork and Fota Island Golf Resort. Fota is nestled in the heart of a beautiful island only 15 minutes from Cork city. This 5 star resort is the perfect combination of classic splendour and contemporary design. Fota is home to 3 championship courses and held the Irish Open in 2014. Here you will enjoy one night bed and breakfast and a round of golf.
Day 5
For our final day’s championship golf experience, your chauffeur will take you further south and west to the Old Head Golf Course in Kinsale, County Cork. The Old Head is home to a world class golf course and luxury accommodation just on the outskirts of the seaside town of Kinsale, renowned as the gourmet capital of Ireland. The Course has developed in to one of the most exclusive golf experiences and is a sanctuary for those seeking the finest in personalised service. The Old Head’s club house overlooks the 18th green and commands stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Old Head lighthouse. Here you can enjoy one night bed and breakfast and one round of golf.
Day 6
Transfer back to Dublin.
